Please note that the physical exams originally scheduled for Friday, July 16th, have been rescheduled for Monday, July 19th, and will be held at Linton Middle School.

All students planning on participating in any extracurricular activity at the start of the 2010-2011 school year must have a 2.0 GPA at the end of the current school year.  The following are the summer school programs approved by the District:

• Phase 4: www.phase4learningcenter.org at 412-924-0053.  Cost is $175 for the program, which runs from June 21-July 12, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.  There are 60 hours total per course. Students must be registered no later than June 18th.

• AIU ecademy: www.aiu3.net/ecademy at 412-394-4912.

Because final grades will not be posted until after the registration deadline, students who believe they may need to attend summer school to maintain eligibility should speak with their guidance counselors.  Students may take a maximum of two courses in summer school.

The Big Red Football Book (1937-2006) is now available. A history of Penn Hills High School football, the book provides all of the information you ever wanted or needed to know about players, coaches, opponents, schedules, scores, pictures, and much more. Cost of the book is $30.00 plus $3.95 shipping and handling. All proceeds from sales of the book will be donated to the Fralic Fund.

Books can be purchased at the folllowing locations: Penn Hills Library, Penn Hills Recreation Department, Penn Hills Athletic Office, and Penn Hills Sports Shop.
