Penn Hills School District

Mrs. Kristin Brown honored as Most Valuable Principal

Penn Hills School District is PROUD to announce that Mrs. Kristin Brown, Principal of Penn Hills Elementary School, was recently named as a Most Valuable Principal (MVP) by the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.  Mrs. Brown has been employed with us since 1994 and has served in the role of both School Counselor and Principal.  She has done an amazing job helping with the consolidation of multiple elementary schools into our single Penn Hills Elementary School which opened its doors in 2014.
The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation received over 1,300 nominations for MVP distinction, and these nominations represented more than 135 principals from public, private and charter schools in the Pittsburgh Area.  Mrs. Brown will receive a $1,000 check to support a school project of her choice, along with a Pens prize package.
Please help us to congratulate Mrs. Brown on a job well done!
