Penn Hills HS COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic - May 11 & June 1

Penn Hills High School is hosting a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Tuesday, May 11 from 12:00-3:00pm in the High School Auxiliary Gym for Penn Hills Students (16 and older) and Staff! Vaccinations will be available to all other interested parties from the PH community and elsewhere on the same days at Penn Hills HS but after 3:00 pm.

Vaccination Opportunity at Penn Hills High School

In collaboration with Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Penn Hills HS will serve as a host site for Pfizer vaccinations on Tues, May 11 and Tues, June 1 from approximately 12:00-3:00 pm for PHHS students and other interested PHSD affiliates only. Vaccinations will be available to all other interested parties from the PH community and elsewhere on the same days at Penn Hills HS but after 3:00 pm.

Update from the Superintendent - April 30, 2021

Can you believe we have fewer than 30 days remaining in the current school year?  Admittedly, many of us, (whether student, parent, guardian, or employee), likely felt at some point this crazy year would never end, but here we are!

Act 66 of 2021 Student Grade Level Retainment

To make up for educational opportunities lost due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a new Pennsylvania law called Act 66 gives students and their parents or guardians special rights during the 2021-2022 school year:

Tribute in Memory of Jason Lott, Penn Hills HS Student

The Penn Hills School District would like to acknowledge the passing of our student Jason Lott earlier this week. Jason was a Penn Hills HS student and will be sadly missed. Grief support will continue to be available in each of our school counseling offices.

Updated Message from the Superintendent- April 20, 2021

While some are suggesting such a district response may not be necessary given the verdict, we realize that older students, especially, will likely realize one verdict doesn't change circumstances for many, and it certainly doesn't bring back those victims whom we've lost.  Admittedly, there's still much work to be done.

Mrs. Kristin Brown honored as Most Valuable Principal

Penn Hills School District is PROUD to announce that Mrs. Kristin Brown, Principal of Penn Hills Elementary School, was recently named as a Most Valuable Principal (MVP) by the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.
