Each year PHSD is required to hold an open enrollment period for health care coverage.  During this period employees can enroll or make changes to their current insurance coverage without needing a qualifying life event.    ACSHIC is requiring all members of the consortium to hold open enrollment earlier than we have in past years.   The Enrollment period this year will be April 15, 2022 to May 15, 2022.

 

Each employee will receive an open enrollment packet that needs to be reviewed.   Each employee is required to respond to this mailing even you are not making any changes to your current coverage.  

 

All employees enrolled in Highmark will receive new insurance cards in June, effective July 1, 2022.
